5G Wholesale Partner Acceptable Usage Policy
1. Purpose This Acceptable Usage Policy (AUP) outlines the acceptable and prohibited uses of the 5G network services provided by iMgroup Pty Ltd to its wholesale partners. This policy aims to ensure fair usage, network integrity, and compliance with local regulations.
2. Scope This policy applies to all wholesale partners of iMgroup Pty Ltd utilizing the 5G network services in South Africa.
3. Acceptable Use Wholesale partners are permitted to use the 5G services for the following purposes:
- Providing telecommunications services to end-users.
- Facilitating IoT (Internet of Things) applications that comply with regulatory standards.
- Supporting legitimate business operations and applications that enhance productivity and efficiency.
4. Prohibited Use The following activities are prohibited under this AUP:
- Illegal Activities: Using the network for any illegal activities, including but not limited to fraud, hacking, or distribution of illegal content.
- Network Abuse: Engaging in practices that degrade or disrupt the network, including but not limited to spamming, DDoS attacks, or excessive bandwidth usage that negatively impacts other users.
- Unauthorized Access: Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any systems, networks, or accounts.
- Content Restrictions: Distributing, transmitting, or storing content that is obscene, defamatory, or violates intellectual property rights.
- Misrepresentation: Misrepresenting the services provided or failing to accurately inform end-users about the nature of the services.
5. Compliance with Laws and Regulations All wholesale partners must comply with applicable laws and regulations in South Africa, including but not limited to:
- The Electronic Communications Act.
- The Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
- Any other relevant telecommunications and data protection regulations.
5.1.1 The wholes -Partner agrees to iMgroup Pty Ltd acceptable usage policy which is located at https://imgroup.co.za/usage-policy/ and which iMobility shall be entitled to change from time to time. It is the responsibility of the Wholesale-Partner to remain updated with the acceptable usage policy.
6. Monitoring and Enforcement iMgroup Pty Ltd reserves the right to monitor network usage to ensure compliance with this policy. Violations may result in corrective action, including but not limited to warnings, suspension, or termination of services.
7. Reporting Violations Wholesale partners are encouraged to report any suspected violations of this AUP to iMgroup Pty Ltd immediately. Reports can be submitted to [insert contact details].
8. Amendments to the Policy iMgroup Pty Ltd reserves the right to amend this policy at any time. Wholesale partners will be notified of significant changes.
9. Acceptance By engaging in business with iMgroup Pty Ltd, wholesale partners agree to abide by this Acceptable Usage Policy.
